Shava The Scarred Gnomess

Another character drawing based on the forum RPG Arsencia([link]).

This poor soul is based off Shava, Rafv Nin's character in the RPG. She is a Gnome, and as you can see she hasn't had a life that many people would envy.
She suffered terrible burns from an encounter with an oven at the hands of an abusive step father(if I remember right), and is forever left with the scars from this ordeal.

However, she has developed a rather special ability which lets her impress her own mindset on others. If she's feeling sad, she could break people into tears, if she's grumpy, she can make those around her furious. Added to which she's good at controlling her own emotions, so projecting whatever mindset she wants is a simple task.

She was a bit of a hard character to draw, after all, how do you make someone that's mean to look ugly still look good? Added to which, although she was clearly defined as a 'scarred gnomess' there wasn't actually much more to go on in terms of her physical description.

The burns/scarring came out alight (it was something I really wasn't sure how to go about in the beginning), and as a whole I actually think she turned out fairly well once I got the design and worked into it.
